I had a long run today (14 miles- yikes!) and decided to run down to Centennial Park from my parents' house. Then I took a detour over to Vanderbilt campus and through parts of Peabody campus as well. It was fun to meander through the walkways on such a gorgeous spring day and to know that this is the place that will always hold down some roots for you both. Giving thanks for this place that brought you both to Nashville and that brought you two together. Go 'Dores!!
I wish I could take credit for this picture,
but I got this one off the Vandy admissions website. :)

I imagine that you clocked some hours here back in the day...
The TN State flower in full bloom on campus :)
One thing about marathon training is that while I ran longer today than I have in a while, there is no way I could have gone 26.2 today. And yet, that's okay. I still have 2 months left to get ready. My training plan is designed to get me in shape, but that does not mean that I have to be ready to race now. In the same way, as you begin to settle into Pittsburg, I am praying that you will be ready when you need to be for the transplant and that you will be able to trust that God has you on a "training plan" to get you ready in time for all that is ahead....
Sending you some cheers from your home team!!
(not my picture either- but I could not resist putting this one up today!)
