I am continuing the Hebrews theme from yesterday... Here is a taste of Hebrews 12 from The Message:
Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls! Hebrews 12:2-3 (The Message)
This seems to fit as you all probably are running on fumes now. With so much to do and so many details to remember, I'm not sure how restful the nights are with lists streaming through your heads. I am praying for you both to find a few moments today to fix your gaze on the mystery of God's grace and truth and love in the midst of this race right now. May God give you the adrenaline for your souls when you feel weary from the long road.

words for you today too:
Don't be too hard on yourself this week if you miss something from your lists that are a mile long...
