happy feet in the sunshine

The sun came out today and I felt like a kid in a candy shop. Like many Seattle dwellers, I don't take it for granted when I feel the sun warm on my skin and I want to do everything I can to soak it up. So, I tossed on my shoes for a pre-dinner run tonight as the sun was still shining bright and I finished when the sun was beginning to set.  I felt a little giddy and even had the thought of giving someone a high five along the way (as lots of people were out and about on the Burke Gilman trail where I went), but I decided that I could just keep that in my imagination as I ran by folks as I did not want to freak anyone out! My knee was a bit better as I had a slower easier workout today and that felt great.

I listened to this song several times and felt like it was meant for you as you get ready for next steps in your journey...

"One Thing Remains"
Higher than the mountains that I face
Stronger than the power of the grave
Constant through the trial and the change
One thing… Remains [repeat]

[Chorus:]
Your love never fails, never gives up
Never runs out on me [3x]

On and on and on and on it goes
It overwhelms and satisfies my soul
And I never, ever, have to be afraid
One thing remains

[Bridge:]
In death, In life, I’m confident and
covered by the power of Your great love
My debt is paid, there’s nothing that can
separate my heart from Your great love...

praying for an assurance of His love for you all today...

sent with love from happy feet in the sunshine.
